This gallery includes my current photographic work as well as my past. Many of the the old photographs I published in the past on my former websites can be found here, but some I did not republish.
This gallery is inspired by PiGallery2 and based on zola, photoswipe and https://github.com/xieranmaya/blog/issues/6.
Changes to the gallery happen automatically with syncthing and a systemd service and inotifywait that triggers zola build when content changes in the content directory of the zola theme. This makes a live gallery during an event possible. For example by sending pictures from the camera to the smartphone and directly syncing them to the server hosting the gallery.
For scaling the pictures to a certain Mpx size (I prefer it over a scaling to a certain height and width limit), I use a tera function based on "Heron's method" in the zola theme.
